The artist says: I want this painting to normalise bad days. Mental health is a very present issue in todays society, and more often than not we beat ourselves up when we are down, instead of being kind to ourselves. Sometimes life is just sh*t, and that's okay. I feel like the more we recognise and normalise that, the more we can enjoy the little things like a nice cup of coffee in a café. This is my way of doing just that, and finding a little humour in it.
