Lines Through Fire

Original acrylic on canvas board.

One day, this painting will mean something different to everyone who looks at it.

I knew from early on that I wanted to include pylons. As an artist, I love capturing nature — quiet places and undisturbed scenes ✨ But the truth is, we are here, and we have left our mark on nature. It doesn’t always have to feel ugly.

This scene reminds me of childhood road trips, watching the pylons go by on the way back from grandma’s house or during caravan holidays in Blackpool. There’s something nostalgic about them that stayed with me.
I finished this painting last night, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
